Minot flood forecast could take another 2- to 3-foot leap; more told to begin 'evacuation process'

The flood outlook for North Dakota's fourth-largest city worsened Thursday, as accelerated releases from an upstream dam into the Souris River led officials to order more evacuations and close a major bridge.
