Grand Forks library gets complaint about disability access

Susan Mickelson, who chairs the Library Board, said access has long been a problem for the library, which was built decades before the federal Americans with Disabilities Act passed in 1990. The city’s legal advisors have told library officials the library is not required to address the problem until someone complains, she said. Now, someone has.
