Natasha Thomas and six other music therapists statewide serve 800 clients each week, and demand is growing. It's a field that helps people achieve emotional balance through musical expression. From infants to teens with mental health issues to adults with developmental disabilities, she travels from place to place to see them all. She's loving it, she said, but the profession needs to be more established in the state as it would be under a state law certifying music therapists.
