Census: GF grew 7.1 percent, EGF grew 14.7 percent since 2000

The 2010 Census, released Wednesday, shows Grand Forks grew along with the other bigger cities in North Dakota while many counties lost population, this despite the oil boom in the west where many smaller counties are. There's a political angle, too: Fargo will likely gain seats in the Legislature and Bismarck is getting close. In Minnesota, a lot of the growth were in suburban counties around the Twin Cities.
