Which graduates does North Dakota need most — young people who are educated to answer our state’s infrastructure and general work force development needs, or graduates who are educated in liberal arts and applied academic fields? As the presidents of the North Dakota State College of Science and North Dakota State University, we’d argue that the answer is both.
