Demand high for blood donations

“This is way more important than holiday shopping,” Randy Livinggood said Wednesday as a Dak-Minn medical lab technician prepared his arm for a blood donation. Livinggood came in to give blood at the urging of his brother, Terry, who had received a call Tuesday evening that the Dak-Minn Blood Bank was critically short of blood types A-positive and O-positive.
