Women few, far between on Minnesota county boards

Next year, women will represent 12 percent of county commissioners in Minnesota, according to the state Legislature's Office on the Economic Status of Women. It's about a 1 percent increase from this year, but it's a 3 percent decrease from 1998. Of the county boards without women, all are in rural Minnesota.
