Fire destroys one of Hatton's oldest buildings

A fire on its main street claimed one of the oldest buildings in Hatton, N.D., early Saturday. The two-story building has been vacant for more than 10 years, with its last occupant being the Country Squire Café. There was no chance to save the structure when firefighters arrived about 3 a.m., said Dave Anderson of the Hatton Volunteer Fire Department.
