DFL Senator accuses Pawlenty of siphoning staff from state agencies

DFL Sen. Don Betzold wants to cut $1 million from the governor’s operating budget. Betzold says he’s concerned about Pawlenty’s use of interagency agreements to pay for staff positions in his office, particularly $30,000 in revenue from the Support Our Troops license plate that was used to support a veterans outreach position in the governor’s office.
