Risk of major flooding increases in southern and northern valley

The chance of major flooding this spring is increasing throughout much of the Red River Valley, according to the latest spring flood outlook issued today by the National Weather Service. In Fargo and some smaller communities in the southern Red River Valley, the risk of reaching major flood stage of 30 feet is as high as 98 percent.
