THEIR OPINION: Buying votes sells out the process of lawmaking

Health care reform has traveled a rough road. The American people are more than a little weary, and a whole lot embarrassed, by partisan games being played in Congress, the worst of which was Democratic leaders in the U.S. Senate agreeing to pay the entire cost of any Medicaid expansion for Nebraska, while other states would have to foot that bill.
