North Dakota’s Health Department said the state’s smog levels are mostly below a proposed new federal range for ozone pollution. Smog is another name for ground-level ozone, and the Environmental Protection Agency said it’s cutting smog limits to 0.06 to 0.07 parts per million over eight hours. Now, the public health limit is 0.075 parts per million.
