ANN BAILEY: Chemotherapy treatment is a rigorous road to travel

Before my 6-year-old daughter, Ellen, was diagnosed with leukemia I was in the dark about a lot of things connected with cancer. Though I had relatives and close friends with various types of the disease, I didn’t really understand what chemotherapy and radiation were, or how they are administered. During the past year and a half I’ve received a crash course in chemotherapy.
