On Lake of the Woods, anglers are catching walleyes just outside the Lighthouse Gap in 28 feet of water with spinners and crawlers. A jig and minnow is working best on the rocks around Graceton Reef in 16 to 18 feet, Four-Mile Bay and the mouth of the Rainy River, where an early shiner run is drawing fish. At the Northwest Angle, McPherson Island, Tug Channel and Johnston Passage on the Ontario side of the lake have produced walleyes in 15 to 25 feet of water.Word count: 831
