Incredible walleye numbers are being pulled from just outside Lighthouse Gap north to Little Oak Island in the Northwest Angle. West of Garden Island, downrigging has produced walleyes in 25 to 30 feet of water. Hammered gold spinner rigs continue to work well, and anglers also are catching fish anchored and jigging with frozen shiners in 28 to 32 feet of water.
