Citizens speak up in Casselton forum

In Casselton, supporters of reform spoke of wrenching decisions and descent into debt in the face of mounting health care costs and limits to insurance coverage. Reform skeptics conjured a grim government takeover of a health care system some said was the best in the world. Sen. Byron Dorgan made a brief pitch for change – curbs to insurance and prescription costs he said are by far higher than anywhere in the world – but mostly stepped back and listened.
