Census estimates confirm long-term trend

The latest estimates out of the U.S. Census Bureau seem to confirm once again a lot of what’s known about population changes in the northern Red River Valley region. With some exceptions, rural areas are emptying while some of the larger cities, namely the Grand Cities and Bemidji grew.Word count: 1510
