Rain bad news for farmers

The last tributaries of the Red River in North Dakota, the Tongue and the Pembina rivers, took on another load of water after 2 to 4 inches of rain fell Monday across the area. It meant farmers already way behind normal spring planting schedules were stymied again by water-logged soil.Word count: 767
