FACES AND PLACES: BEV LETEXIER: Honoring the fallen

Published 05/24/2009, Grand Forks Herald

“Would you like to wear a poppy?”
That’s a question Bev LeTexier of East Grand Forks will repeat hundreds of times this month. Letexier, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in East Grand Forks, has been pounding the streets during May to distribute poppies and poppy posters and reminding people about the veterans who have served their country. You can be sure LeTexier, a 45-year-old member of the American Legion Auxiliary, will be the proud wearer of a poppy on Memorial Day.
