Slain soldiers honored at N.D. Capitol

A special ceremony at Memorial Hall in the state Capitol on Thursday paid tribute to service members killed in the war on terror. Calli Beyer of Jamestown sang a song she wrote for college classmate Philip Brown, who died in Iraq in 2004. The song comforted her two years later, when her husband, Army Cpl. Paul Beyer, was killed in Iraq. She was widowed at 21.
