Lisbon reports calm night after stabilizing manhole leaks

A light rain fell in Lisbon this morning as crews continued to shore up dikes and raise them to 25 feet and the National Guard set up Hesco walls as contingency dikes, he said. The Sheyenne River in Lisbon hit 22.81 feet at 8 a.m. today – more than 3½ feet higher than the previous record of 19.29 feet set in 1997. High river levels are expected to continue in Lisbon for two weeks, Baumgard said.
