Detoured drivers make few complaints

Wednesday, Interstate 29 was almost completely open to the South Dakota border
Though floodwaters continue to force detours on rural roads and highways throughout Grand Forks and Polk counties, drivers appear to be taking it in stride. John Bernstrom, public information officer for Grand Forks, said he’s received very few if any complaints from the public. The same is being said by the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department and the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
