GF area under winter storm warning

Seven to 14 inches of additional snow are expected across southeast North Dakota and along the South Dakota border into west-central Minnesota by tonight, the National Weather Service says, bringing storm total accumulations of up to 20 inches in that area. Closer to Grand Forks, snow totals today are expected to range from 5 to 10 inches in the central Red River Valley and into northwest Minnesota to 6 inches or less across the Devils Lake basin into the northern Red River valley, according to the weather service.
