Gov. John Hoeven is getting close to naming a permanent executive director for the state workers’ compensation agency. Ryan Bernstein of Hoeven’s office said late last week that the announcement about who will next lead Workforce Safety and Insurance could come within a few days and most certainly “in the next couple of weeks for sure.” He said Hoeven hasn’t had a formal application process but has met with possible appointees.
