Bill particularly would help border cities because Minnesota has clothing exemption, legislator says
A legislator said he introduced a bill to exempt clothing from the state sales tax because it would affect all people in the state. “Clothing is something virtually everyone purchases,” said Rep. Wes Belter, a Republican from Leonard.
