SD House upholds veto on concealed gun bill

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — Gov. Dennis Daugaard's veto of a bill that would have allowed most South Dakota adults to carry concealed handguns without a permit was upheld Monday by the state House of Representatives after opponents said the measure would have gone too far in loosening gun-control laws.
