SD lawmakers seek end to low mileage reimbursement

PIERRE (AP) — A House panel Monday recommended asking South Dakota voters to get rid of a 122-year-old constitutional provision that reimburses lawmakers only 5 cents a mile for their initial and final trips to and from the annual legislative session.Word count: 375
