OUR VIEW: Change law to punish habitual speeders like Janklow

Ever since Bill Janklow blew past a rural stop sign and killed a motorcyclist in 2003, we’ve assumed he must be a changed man. We figured that being convicted of manslaughter for causing a fatal collision would be a wake-up call for Janklow, who previously had a famous and self-acknowledged lead foot. Yet, sadly, Janklow has apparently not changed at all.Word count: 430
