Corsica official: State aid cut could be 10 percent

CORSICA — Corsica’s school board president warned those attending a public meeting Monday night that the district could face as much as a 10 percent cut in state aid.
In citing one of the reasons for the district to consider renewing its current opt-out of the state’s property tax freeze, Jeremy Wright said that decline would translate to roughly $80,000 or two teachers’ salaries.
