Invasive weed discovered in Mitchell yard

Weed Supervisor John Geidel told the Davison County commissioners Tuesday that he recently found the invasive weed known as “yellow toadflax” growing in the yard of a southeast Mitchell neighborhood.
“I noticed the yellow flowers growing there as I drove through town,” Geidel said.
