Activity picks up among 2010 governor candidates

The passing of Labor Day appears to have triggered increased activity from some of the men who want to be South Dakota’s next governor, while others are holding back on high-profile campaigning.
State Sen. Scott Heidepriem, D-Sioux Falls, kicked off a recent flurry of news coverage involving gubernatorial candidates when he participated in a Democratic news release issued the Friday before Labor Day.
