Candidates disagree on ‘rubber stamp’ concerns

The “rubber stamp” issue will doubtless be a hot topic of debate Thursday, when four Mitchell school board candidates square off in a public forum.
The top vote-getters in the school board race will win the two available at-large seats.
Incumbent board member Neil Putnam is running for a fourth term. The remaining seat will be vacated in July by outgoing board member Bob Everson, who decided not to run for re-election. Also running are Craig Guymon, Theresa Kriese and Jason Kurtenbach.
