Barnum man receives stayed sentence for drunken shooting incident at home

Tyrone Edward Demenge, 42, of Barnum was sentenced in Carlton County Court Wednesday to one year in prison on one gross misdemeanor charge of obstructing the legal process by interfering with a police officer. Felony charges of first-degree assault, reckless handling/use/discharge of a weapon and two counts of terroristic threats in addition to a misdemeanor domestic assault charge were all dismissed.Word count: 659
