Rotary saves Peruvian clinic it helped build

Fifteen years ago, Duluth’s Rotary Club 25 built a medical clinic to help an underserved river village in Peru. Now that clinic is in danger of falling victim to the Amazon as the river devours chunks of land close to the clinic. The club has stepped in again, raising $60,000 for materials and enlisting about 40 volunteers from various Rotary clubs and friends to build a new clinic farther inland in February.Word count: 463
