My husband and I retired to Duluth from Little Rock, Ark., four months ago. Among many reasons for moving, we wanted to live in a more socially, politically and environmentally progressive area. We were therefore happy to see the educational initiatives approved last fall and to see Patrick Boyle elected to the St. Louis County Board by such a wide margin on Jan. 14.Word count: 99
