Our view: Support building for transportation spending

They know the upcoming session of the Minnesota Legislature will be a short one — in and out — and dominated by a bonding bill, an every-other-year doling out of cash for public projects such as arenas and college buildings. They know, too, that any time lawmakers still have left after that will be eaten up by a proposal to raise the minimum wage, a bill to strengthen the state’s synthetic drug laws, and other priority items.Word count: 465
