Reader’s view: Holocaust education prevents complacency

The “Lawyers without Rights” exhibit at the federal courthouse in Duluth was an incredibly important opportunity for the people of our region to learn more about what happens when justice erodes and cultures are annihilated by soulless extremists. The News Tribune featured the exhibit in an article (“Exhibit details Nazi treatment of Jewish lawyers,” Nov. 12), and I sincerely hope people from our area were inspired to visit the exhibit and learn.
