Dorothy Molter was the last nonindigenous person to live legally in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, and Sarah Guy-Levar will be speaking about the book about Molter that she co-wrote with Terri Schocke (“Dorothy Molter, The Root Beer Lady”), from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 17 in the first-floor Ruth Maney Room at the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center at the Depot.
