Renegade Theater mining musical grittier than standard Broadway fare

The word “musical” usually implies Broadway-style show tunes, a la “Oklahoma!” and “Annie.” Theater-goers who expect soaring vocals backed by an orchestra will be surprised by “The Burnt Part Boys,” which debuts tonight on the Renegade Theater stage.
