Local view: Today’s violence often the result of failed mourning

After the verdict was announced in the George Zimmerman trial in Florida, I read a new book about Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” At the end of the play, corpses are strewn across the stage, including the corpse of young Prince Hamlet who was probably around Trayvon Martin’s age when he died.
