Northland man recalls father's encounter with war hero

Wayne Anderson of Grand Marais remembers his father’s story about William Colvill. In 1896, a 10-year-old Charlie Anderson and his family were moving from Tower to Cook County. Charlie remembered the trip by boat from Duluth well because he met a genuine war hero.Word count: 398
