U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to check for safe channels on St. Louis River

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to check depths of the St. Louis River above Clough Island in the Twin Ports harbor. The U.S. Coast Guard says it has become too shallow to place navigation buoys for recreational boaters after the June flooding.Word count: 565
