Soccer donations cheer students

Last year, our daughter, Dawna Diamon, a graduate of Northwestern High School in Maple, went on a trip to Nairobi, Kenya, to work with the Utu Montessori School in the Kibera Slum. The slum, which is the largest in Sub-Saharan Africa, is made up of about 1 million people. It is something that I’ve never seen before — raw sewage, tin shacks and little electricity.
