Judge orders Last Place on Earth to pay for police security

A state district court judge has ruled that the Last Place on Earth on Superior Street is creating a public nuisance and has ordered the business to pay for two Duluth police officers to provide security and nuisance control, which will cost head shop owner Jim Carlson $8,690 per week.Word count: 1014
