In response: Bashing traditional ammo is misleading

As a longtime deer hunter, I was disappointed to read the Oct. 28 article, “Few deer hunters switching to copper bullets.” The article suggested that eating game harvested with lead ammunition could be dangerous. I have been eating game harvested with lead ammunition for years; so do many other hunters I know. I have not heard of anyone becoming sick from eating venison shot with lead ammunition.
