Reader's view: DECC quickly removed objectionable display

I am a hospital chaplain who works in a behavioral health unit and as an alcohol and drug counselor. On Thursday, Sept. 27, I was aghast and ashamed when I went to park my car at the DECC to hear a talk about palliative care and saw what looked like a man hanging in the air next to the William A. Irvin’s conversion for Halloween into the Haunted Ship.
