Given enough distance, the Coriolis effect takes low air pressure and wraps it into a circle called a cyclone. Not all lows get that mature, though. Saturday’s rain maker was a small, disorganized patch of lower pressure a few thousand feet aloft and didn’t bring that much rain.Word count: 170
