Field reports: Wet spell shouldn’t hurt ruffed grouse

The prolonged spell of rainy and cool weather across the Northland probably won’t have a significant effect on this year’s ruffed grouse chick production, said Mike Larson, grouse biologist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources at Grand Rapids.
