Reader’s view: UMD student, temporary resident should vote at home

I read with interest the letter from a University of Minnesota Duluth student on April 12, headlined, “Law would disenfranchise thousands of students.” It was obvious from his own words he does not consider Duluth his home because he said he would have to “make a daylong trip home to simply cast my ballot.” Therefore I would suggest he arrange to get an absentee ballot from his “home” because he is a temporary resident of Duluth.Word count: 77
