Northland Nature: Yellowlegs join other April migrants

With the quick warm-up this spring, we also experienced a rush of early migrants. By the time of the vernal equinox, we had already noted the arrivals of red-winged blackbirds, grackles, robins, song sparrows, juncos, killdeer and kestrels, as well as a variety of ducks and geese.
